DiA Team

Dance in Art’s teaching staff is comprised of highly experienced professionals. Members of our staff have danced and worked with many leading professional dance companies including among others; Nederlands Dans Theater, Introdans, Internationaal Dans Theater, Het Nationale Ballet, Aalto Ballet Theater, Herman van Veen and New English Contemporary Ballet.

Martine van Santen | Artistic- and Business Director

In 2014 Martine Elizabeth van Santen has been Honored for Excellence in Choreography by WORLDWIDE Who’s Who and has been qualified for inclusion in the WORLDWIDE Who’s Who registry of executives, professionals and entrepreneurs.

 

Claudia Acquaviva | Teacher, Choreographer, NCC Manager

Claudia Acquaviva, our Turin-born teacher, started early with her dance career at the Arkè Ensemble. In Chicago and New York she updated her dance qualities and received a scholarship for a winter intensive at the one and only Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. During this study she also followed lessons with Alvin Ailey. In 2013 she moved to Milan for her studies at the academy of the Katakló athletic dance theater. A year later Claudia got the chance to travel and perform national and internationally with the NUE dance Company. In 2017 Claudia finally came to the Netherlands where she trained at the Nikki de Graaf Company. Nowadays, Claudia focuses mainly on teaching in the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. We are one of the lucky ones who can count her as our teaching team. Claudia gives Contemporary dance, acrofloorwork & Choreolab.

Anique Bosch | Teacher Pilates – About Moving

Anique started ballet when she was 4 years old. From 1994 till 2003 she attended the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, where she graduated and obtained here degree in dance. Her first contract she got was in 2003 at the Aalto Ballet Theater in Essen, Germany, where she was featured in The Wall, Requiem and Le Sacre du Printemps. From 2004 she danced in musicals and other big danceshows in Germany, Holland, Austria and Switserland, such as Die Schöne das Biest, Robin Hood, Best of Musical Gala 2010, The Fantastic Shadows. She has done the original musical Cats 3 times and in 3 different languages​​, English, Dutch and German. Her role was Victoria, the white cat. She also danced in Tissu (Aerlist) at Bencha Theater, she gives ballet and pilates classes, and works as a portrait photographer.

Patrick Radu | Teacher Ballet, Contemporary, Partnering

Patrick received his dance education at ArtEZ Arnhem, the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen and Alvin Ailey School in New York. Patrick danced with the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and several German companies. He was a finalist in The Ultimate Dance Battle and the Everybody Dance Now Competition. With the Arnhems Danstheater he worked as a dancer, choreographer and actor. In 2012 Patrick started with the Internationaal Danstheater (IDT) as a dancer and in 2015 also as a choreographer for IDT.
