Dance in Art’s teaching staff is comprised of highly experienced professionals. Members of our regular staff and our guest teachers have danced and worked with many leading professional dance companies including among others; Nederlands Dans Theater, Introdans, Internationaal Dans Theater, Het Nationale Ballet, Aalto Ballet Theater, Herman van Veen and New English Contemporary Ballet.

Martine van Santen

In 2014 Martine Elizabeth van Santen has been Honored for Excellence in Choreography by WORLDWIDE Who’s Who and has been qualified for inclusion in the WORLDWIDE Who’s Who registry of executives, professionals and entrepreneurs.

Claudia Acquaviva
Teacher, Choreographer, NCC Manager
Claudia Acquaviva, our Turin-born teacher, started early with her dance career at the Arkè Ensemble. In Chicago and New York she updated her dance qualities and received a scholarship for the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance.

Anique Bosch
Teacher Pilates – About Moving
Anique Bosch started ballet when she was 4 years old. From 1994 till 2003 she attended the Dutch National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, where she graduated and obtained here degree in dance. Her first contract she got was in 2003 at the Aalto Ballet Theater in Essen, Germany.

Patrick Radu
Guest teacher Ballet, Contemporary, Partnering
Patrick received his dance education at ArtEZ Arnhem, the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen and Alvin Ailey School in New York. Patrick danced with the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and several German companies.

Ester Natzijl
Guest teacher NDT repertoire and Physical Theatre
Ester is trained academically in theatre and dance at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and danced for several years with Introdans (1998-1999) and the Netherlands Dans Theater (1999-2003) and joined many dance-theatre projects as a freelance dancer (including one with the Frankfurter Ballet in 2004).

Karen Gallegos
Ballet- and Pilates Teacher
Originally from Mexico, Karen completed her education in Classic Dance in 2015 at Nacional Institute of Fine Arts (INBA). In Mexico, she danced with The Metropolitan Ballet Company and performed Swan Lake with the Nacional Dance Company of Mexico.
