About

Anique studied at the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam, where she got her bachelor degree in dance in 2003. Since then she has been working as a ballet dancer in different countries. The musical “Cats” was a big part of her career. She played the role of “White Cat” in the Netherlands, England and Germany.

Pilates has always been a big part of her ballet training. It always kept her in shape and helped her recover from an injury.
She followed several Pilates teacher training courses at the Pilates Company, Kineticode Pilates and the Polestar ® Pilates Comprehensive Studio Course.
From 2015 till 2019 she was teaching pilates to the Dutch Olympic rowing teams.

She loves to work with all kinds of people from all ages and disciplines, helping them get rid of their pain or simply get stronger by guiding them to move efficient.
She started About Moving Pilates at the beginning of 2017.
