Paola Ghidini is a ballet, modern and contemporary dancer, dance teacher and artist. Born in Brescia, Italy, she started her ballet training at very young age. Amongst others, she studied at Studio76 in Brescia, Opus Ballet in Florence and Rossella Hightower in Cannes. During her education she took part in many dance workshops in Italy and abroad, studying with international teachers, dancers and choreographers.She studied one year Set Design in Florence and received a Bachelor Degree for Social and Political Science at Universita’ degli Studi di Milano. She’s a certified Ballet Teacher at A.I.D.A in Milan; interested in anatomy, biomechanics and rehabilitation. Moreover, she dedicated the last 4 years to the American method Zena Rommett Floor-Barre®, becoming a Certified Teacher in 2014 and introducing the method in the Netherlands. In 2017 she was certified with SiDI (Safe in Dance International) as a Health Dance Practitioner. As dancer in Italy she performed many year with the company Doppio Movimento, S83 Physical Theatre and in two musical productions. Based in the Netherlands since 2014 and among others, she have been member of Isabelle Beernaert’s company, she danced with the Dutch National Opera&Ballet and with DeDDDD. Currently focusing on his own work and creation with other colleagues, she performed in different venues the duet “DropLess” and she’s now touring with the piece “GoneWords”.
