About

Federica Panariello (Napoli 1992) is an italian contemporary dancer and performer based in the Netherlands.
She studied at the San Carlo Opera Theatre in Napoli, at the National dance Academy in Rome and at ArtEZ,
University of the Arts in the Netherlands where she expanded her horizons meeting international artists and
choreographers and starting to create her own works.
As a versatile dancer she performed in projects by Krisztina de Chatel, Liat Magnezy, Nicole Beutler, Caroline
Finn, George Reischl and Idan Sharabi
She is currently working in the latest creation of Liat Magnezy, Kop in het Zand (premiere September 2020)
and at the Nationale Opera & Ballet in Amsterdam. At the NOB she took part in Opera productions such us:
Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny, Carmen, Rusalka, Faust [working title] and Le Nozze di Figaro
Besides the active role of performer and dancer, Federica worked also as a ballet dance teacher and
improvisation developing her ideas and creativity with young professional dancers and where she also held the
role of coach to support an healthy way of training.
Federica describes herself has:“I have always been a particularly analytical person who uses the infinite
sphere of emotions to find new questions and new answers. I consider myself very sensitive, the human side is
what characterizes and interests me the most. I always try to take those qualities and express it through the
physicality of my movement language. Dance Improvisation is the tool I prefer the most to investigate, to
understand, to tune in, to feel and play”
