About

Thu Hang Pham (1992) started her dance training at the 5 o’clock class at the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam (ATD). After finishing her training in Amsterdam she gained more dance experience in the New York City (Peridance Capezio Center) and Israel (Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company). Throughout the years she specialized in contemporary dance. Her dance language focusses on flow, being grounded, musicality, a certain rawness and creating psychical and mental awareness. As a teacher and a maker she hopes she can help dancers to think and dance beyond particular shapes and aesthetics. As a dancer she was part of DOX Theater, where she worked with choreographers as Elvis Sibeko, DeDansers, The100Hands and Anne Suurendonk. Since 2017 she started to work with choreographer Anderson Carvalho on several project named Memories, What do you see? and [In] Between Ho[me]. At the moment she is working with the dance company AYA.
